If you are in Lewis and Clark county it's always a good idea to stop by Scott Reservoir. Cataract Meadows is a fine site to stretch your legs a bit, and there are great spots to look at along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail. At Scott Reservoir you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | certainly meet some folks from Helena, and Travis Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out. Camping is available at Basin Canyon Campground, and if you get bored of Scott Reservoir you could also pop by close by Chessman Reservoir. Helena National Recreation Trail. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Scott Reservoir, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are
in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Scott Reservoir. Why not check out Scott Reservoir Dam if you're here, and camping at Tenmile Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water
nearby, Banner Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here, and going for a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail is always a good adventure. Having a delightful time at Scott Reservoir is painless. If you need a site to stay Jorgenson
Inn and Suite is a perfect choice; paddling on Boulder River is so much fun. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Great Divide, and Lee Mountain can be seen from Scott Reservoir.
