All through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Scott Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Scott Reservoir sink into the 0's. If you came to camp Lakeside Resort and Marina is a good location to do that, and the nice folks of Helena like to hang out       nearby. Red Lion Colonial Hotel is a tremendous place to get some rest, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the 1906 Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Scott Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a great vista of Burnt Mountain from Scott Reservoir, and if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Tizer Lakes. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Scott Reservoir                  called the Prospect Shafts Trail; let's not forget Hogan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. Scott Reservoir is a location that is rather dehydrated commonly; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Scott Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Helena Campground and RV Park is a tremendous place for that, and do go to Hidden Lake, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
