Through the summertime months, highs typically are in the 70's at Scott Lake while night lows are frequently in the 30's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Scott Lake. Dollar Lake is a great lake right next door to Scott Lake, and there's great hiking along the Blue Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Polaris Lake is in close proximity, and Scott       Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Dinner Station Campground is a perfect local campground. So many cool things in the Pioneer Mountains, just striking. Don't leave Scott Lake without first going for a hike along the Rhubarb Patch Trail. There's so much to do here at Scott Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grasshopper Campground is a delightful place for that. Scott Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is                  June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more to do close to Scott Lake. Alturas Number One Mountain can be observed from Scott Lake.
