This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Upper Riddell Lake; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Grant Creek Inn is a great choice. Scenic Lakes gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the       most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike along the Crow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you're visiting from Missoula, you won't be the only one. What a place this is for outdoors folks. From Scenic Lakes you obtain a fine sight of Gray Wolf Peak; a great spot to camp here at Scenic Lakes is Cedar Campground. Camping is available at Twin Campground, and you'll never forgive yourself                  if you don’t go skiing at Montana Snowbowl if you're here. A journey to Scenic Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Giant Spring; skiing at Marshall Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast, and a splendid spot is Freeman Pass. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Scenic Lakes. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's.
