Near Sawtooth Lake you hit upon the Driveway Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and of course, this is a fine area for folks who like lakes, Pear Lake is a lake in close proximity. So much entertaining stuff in the Pioneer Mountains, just inspiring. The Rhubarb Patch Trail is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Sawtooth Lake, and Grasshopper Campground is a perfect       local campground. Sawtooth Lake is a beautiful lake in the Pioneer Mountains. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. You get a good view of Comet Mountain from Sawtooth Lake. Going for a hike on the Gold Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Twin Lakes. Sawtooth Lake is pretty waterless mostly; most of the rain falls during June, and                  February is the month with the least moisture.
