At Sawtooth Lake you don’t see much rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always       pop by nearby Chan Lake, and close by you hit upon the Rhubarb Patch Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Camping at Sawtooth Lake is good fun, Grasshopper Campground is a good local campground, and going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a great adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Sawtooth Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Pioneer Mountains for a great time. From Sawtooth Lake you acquire a splendid vista of Comet Mountain, and there                  are nice spots to discover along the Gold Creek Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sawtooth Lake; the night is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 30's.
