Sands Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Sands Lake. Sands Lake is not far at all from Havre. Through the months of summer here at Sands Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip       down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sands Lake. There's so much to do here at Sands Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Havre RV Park and Travel Plaza is a good place for that, and Townhouse Inns is a perfect place to get some rest. The peak of Cement Hill can be observed from Sands Lake, and Sands Lake East Dike is beautiful. Really great skiing awaits you at Bear                  Paw Ski Bowl, and you can stay the night at Clack Museum Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
