Through the summer at Sanders Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Sanders Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Sanders Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Campground is a great place for that. Sanders Lake is pretty waterless regularly; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to take a look at near Sanders Lake is Glacier Lake Dam, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Montana Snowbowl.
