Around Salmon Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; January is when you get the most snow here while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Salmon Lake you can take a hike along the Pyramid Pass Trail; let's not forget Fish Creek which is a stream that you may come across while here. A splendid place to camp here at Salmon Lake is Salmon Lake Campground;       you'll meet a lot of people from Missoula here. Why not camp at Seeley Lake Resort and RV Park if you're here at Salmon Lake, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Salmon Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Salmon Lake. If the weather is glorious                  here at Salmon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Blackfoot Divide Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River.
