    It's always fun to stop by Saint Regis Lake. Soar down the rapids of St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon in a kayak, and there are other places here than Saint Regis Lake, for example Lower Stevens Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more amusing stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Saint Regis Lake is in the neighborhood of Saint Regis Pass which is without doubt worth visiting, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lookout Pass since  
   you're here. Saint Regis Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful spot to camp here at Saint Regis Lake is Squaw Creek Campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork Willow Creek. Not far from Saint Regis Lake, you'll find Upper Saint Regis Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and skiing at Lookout Pass is one
 
               of those things you just should do. All the outdoors amusing things close to Saint Regis Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Arid Ridge Trail; the vista of Wonderful Peak is beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Swiftwater Motel & Rv Park since you're here at Saint Regis Lake, and hiking along the Kyle Creek Trail is nice fun. Saint Regis Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Summertime highs at Saint Regis Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Saint Regis Lake during the wintertime regularly fall into the 10's.
After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Paddling on St. Joe River - North Fork is so much fun; do take a hike on the Wonderful Trail.

Lookout Pass is the original Idaho ski area having documented skiing and a home made rope tow in 1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho. These ski adventurers would hop off the railcars at the summit and utilize a highway storage shed as a warming hut that they nicknamed ''Buzzards Roost''.
Lookout Pass has operated every winter season since 1935 and has a reputation for legendary powder, earliest openings, and longest season in the region. Average snowfall is 400'' of light Northern Rockies snow.
