If you are traveling by, why not stop by Saint Paul Lake. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Turner Mountain. The Engle Peak Trail is a good hiking trail close to Saint Paul Lake, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Kootenai River. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Cabinet Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Engle Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure; some of the water close by flows, like Isabella Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cabinet Mountains. A spree to Milwaukee Pass is always fun, and dry warm beds await you at Noxon Motel.
