Going for a hike on the Sweeney Ridge Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Hidden Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Near Saint Mary Lake you find the Saint Mary Peak Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and in case you don’t       have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek. After a long day outdoors Townhouse Inn of Hamilton is a fine site to spend a night or two, and Kootenai Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Saint Mary Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. Go for a hike on the Carlton Lake Trail, and the top of Heavenly Twins is easily                  seen from Saint Mary Lake.
