An average amount of rain falls at Saint Mary Lake; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while April is generally the driest month. Saint Mary Lake is located in the Lewis Range. High temperatures at Saint Mary Lake during the summertime are in the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's,       and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Saint Mary Lake dip into the 10's. The Red Eagle Trail is a great hiking trail close to Saint Mary Lake; swing by Red Eagle Creek it's a delightful spot to visit. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to check out Two Dog Flats while you're here at Saint Mary Lake; Rising Sun Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. So                  much enjoyable stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. Saint Mary Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Saint Mary Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and Glacier National Park is a delightful place close by.
