Go for a hike on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Red Lodge. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range is great! Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun; don't leave Rydberg Lake without first going for a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes. Smethurst Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and Buena Vista Campground is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Head up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and why not take a little journey to Chan Creek if                  you're here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Rydberg Lake has to offer. M-K Campground is a great campground nearby, and everybody loves Hellroaring Plateau. Throughout the long summer days at Rydberg Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Rydberg Lake. From a rainfall point of view Rydberg Lake is a rather normal site; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
