Ryan Lake is a great location to camp, Racetrack Campground is a great location, and hey, Gotta ski right? Discovery Ski is a splendid place to do that. Thornton Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Mud Lake Dam. It is very dry here at Ryan Lake mostly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily       June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. All through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Ryan Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Ryan Lake.
