Camping is available at Racetrack Campground, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Mud Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Summer at Ryan Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during       the winter temperatures at Ryan Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Thornton Creek is close to Ryan Lake and is always a diversion to visit; at Ryan Lake you always meet someone from Butte-Silver Bow. You get a brilliant view of Baldy from Ryan Lake, and nearby you locate the Boulder Lakes Trail which is a good hiking trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Elliot Lake is close to Ryan Lake, and going for a hike on the Long Canyon Trail is always                  a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Ryan Lake is generally a relatively arid place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Ryan Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.
