So many amusing things in the Cabinet Mountains, just impressive. Stay the night at Willow Creek Campground; the summit of Seven Point Mountain can be observed from Rush Lake. Do check out Sylvan Lake close to Rush Lake, it's a lovely lake; do take a hike on the Miller Creek Trail. At Rush Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and throughout

| | the dark hours in the winter at Rush Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis; hiking along the Bear Creek Trail is glorious fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Rush Lake. While you're here at Rush Lake, you could also check out beautiful Marmot Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rush Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thompson Falls Campground. | |

Rush Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains. Going for a hike along the Slide Rock Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Vermilion River.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Cabinet Mountains. Rush Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July.
