Round Lake is pretty dry typically; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. There are other places here than Round Lake, for example Twin Lakes, and there's glorious hiking along the West Fork Jones Creek National Recreation Trail. The warmest time of the year at       Round Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Round Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do right next door to Round Lake. Paddling on Two Medicine River is so much fun; Round Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, West Fork Campground is a great site to camp nearby. You'll                  need more than a day to discover everything Round Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cave Mountain Campground, and lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Deep Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
