The beauty of Rose Lake is reason enough to stop by. But wait, there's more to do near Rose Lake. While you're here at Rose Lake you must explore Lookout Point, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Hebgan Lake Mountain Inn. Drift down the rapids of Madison River in a kayak. Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Rose Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Rose Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. is January. If you came to camp Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a magnificent place to do that. Lakes are fine; Axolotl Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Rose Lake.

This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Madison River, and there's splendid hiking along the Wapiti Creek Trail.
