The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Herein Creek is a perfect location to go to, and going for a hike on the Lodgepole Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Sienna       Lake is around here, and glide down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak. For the duration of the summertime months at Roosevelt Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Roosevelt Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Roosevelt Lake.                  Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Timber, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Republic Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone offers some fine whitewater; there are other places here than Roosevelt Lake, for example Comet Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Roosevelt Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Woodbine Campground is a brilliant local campground; Big Park is a great location to stretch your legs a bit.
