This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Roosevelt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jellystone RV Park, and you can go for a hike on the Iris Point Trail. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a wonderful choice, and you can hit the slopes at Montana Snowbowl close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Missoula come to Roosevelt       Lake, and after a long day outdoors Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the neighborhood of Roosevelt Lake. Big Lake is a tremendous lake in the neighborhood of Roosevelt Lake, and at McKinley Lake Dam near Roosevelt Lake there are some exciting things to see. A delightful view of lovely Mosquito Peak is available from Roosevelt Lake. There's so much to do here at Roosevelt                  Lake that you need to camp here for a while, St Mary's Motel is a good spot for that. Near Roosevelt Lake you discover the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Roosevelt Lake gets very little rain; during June this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. At Roosevelt Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Roosevelt Lake.
