Have a good hiking adventure along the Iris Point Trail; Roosevelt Lake is not the only place nearby, Carter Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out McKinley Lake while you're here at Roosevelt Lake; it's close by, and not far from Roosevelt Lake you get some good water scenery at McKinley Lake Dam. Summertime highs at Roosevelt Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while night lows are       regularly in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Roosevelt Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Stay the night at St Mary's Motel, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Mill Creek. Roosevelt Lake is a location that is rather dried out mostly; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Dry warm beds await you at Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge; why not                  take a refreshing hike along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Jellystone RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby; the slopes of Marshall Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Gotta ski! Montana Snowbowl is a splendid place to do that.
