There's so much to do here at Roosevelt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jellystone RV Park is a splendid spot for that. Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Missoula here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Roosevelt Lake. Do explore McKinley Lake close to Roosevelt Lake, it's a beautiful lake; if the weather       is good, you can go for a hike along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Roosevelt Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during June, and February is the month with the least moisture. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Roosevelt Lake called the Iris Point Trail; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a great site to spend a night or two. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Carter Lake near                  Roosevelt Lake, and Roosevelt Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, St Mary's Motel is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Montana Snowbowl; a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek. For the period of the warm months highs here at Roosevelt Lake get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Roosevelt Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. McKinley Lake Dam is picturesque and it's right next door to Roosevelt Lake; you get a good view of Mosquito Peak from here. This lake is so wonderful.
