While you're here at Lake of the Rocks you can take a hike along the Castle Rock Trail, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Nelson Lake. The skiing at Lost Trail is pleasant; it's a pleasant                  idea to stop at Mink Creek. All year is a wonderful time in the Bitterroot Range if you fancy the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Rocks that you need to camp here for a while, Little West Fork Campground is a fine spot for that. It is very dried up here at Lake of the Rocks typically; May is the month that gets the most rain while July is typically the driest month. So many fun things to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too splendid to be true. Hiking along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail is nice fun; a gorgeous lake like Mink Lake is a nice site to pop by.
