Montana has many beautiful lakes and Rock Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Howard Lake Campground is a glorious place to camp, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Turner Mountain while you're here. This place is peerless, just explore all the enjoyable things to do close to Rock Lake. Elephant Peak is a peak you can see from Rock Lake; Trout Creek Campground is a perfect local campground.

| | So much fun stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Libby is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Engle Lake Trail.

This site, the Cabinet Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. While staying at Rock Lake you could always look at Saint Paul Pass; float down the rapids of Kootenai River in a kayak. Rock
Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. Rock Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest.
Summertime
highs at Rock Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rock Lake are in the 10's. Rock Lake is not the only spot close by, Wanless Lake is a close by lake, and the Engle Peak Trail offers hiking at its best.
