Why not stop by Rock Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Vermilion River for all you adrenaline kick people; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Turner Mountain. Summertime highs at Rock Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's; night lows at Rock Lake

| | during the winter mostly sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Rock Lake you can take a hike along the Engle Peak Trail, and Rock Lake is a good spot to camp, Howard Lake Campground is a good spot.
Stay the night at Trout Creek Campground; Elephant Peak is striking and can be observed from here. Rock Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is | |

July. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Rock Lake has to offer. There are some great whitewater spots on Kootenai River; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Goat Peak
Trail.
So many entertaining things to do here in the Cabinet Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Nearby Saint Paul Pass is a perfect spot to go if you're at Rock Lake; if you need a place to stay Noxon Motel is a splendid choice.
All year is a nice time in the Cabinet Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A pleasant close by hotel is Trout Creek Motel & RV Park, and Rock Creek Meadows is a good place.
You'll stumble on a charming lake called Isabella Lake
near Rock Lake, and the Engle Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Rock Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains.
