Lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Glacier Lake close to Rock Lake; dry warm beds await you at Murray Hotel. This place, Rock Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. And if that's not enough there's a load more exciting stuff to do in the Crazy Mountains. There are other spots here than Rock Lake, for example Cottonwood Lake; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Big Timber Creek.       This lake is so wonderful. Grasshopper Glacier is an interesting thing to see since you're here at Rock Lake, and Smeller Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Summertime highs at Rock Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Rock Lake descend into the 10's. Here at Rock                  Lake you can make out Conical Peak, and if you came for an overnight stay Half Moon Campground is a magnificent site to camp.
