The beauty of Rock Lake is reason enough to stop by. Rock Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and April on the other hand is the driest. So many exciting things to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. You get a brilliant panorama of Thunderbolt Mountain from Rock Lake, and if you came to camp Peters Creek Campground is a splendid place to do that. There's no way anybody can get bored

| | here in the Lewis Range. A magnificent nearby hotel is Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a great choice, and there's whitewater on Bear Creek for all you adrenaline people. Going for a hike on the Baptiste Lookout Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soup Creek Campground is a splendid place for that. | |

Lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Crevice Lake right next door to Rock Lake, and the Wire Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. All through the warm months highs here at Rock Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows
are usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Rock Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll hit upon a delightful
lake called Bunker Lake near Rock Lake, and nearby you locate the Battery Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Rock Lake is located in the Lewis Range.
