Camping at Crazy Creek Campground is always a nice experience, and why not take a little journey to Farley Creek since you're here. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling close to Rock Island Lake is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; lakes
are such calm places, why not visit Crazy Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a glorious panorama of Rock Island Butte from Rock Island Lake, and if you came to camp Fox Creek Campground is a perfect
location to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
At Rock Island Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Rock Island Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
