Farley Creek is a charming stream that is worth checking out, and going for a hike along the Lake       Reno Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. If you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone offers some magnificent whitewater, and obviously, this is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes, Fox Lake is a lake around here. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Absaroka Range. If you came for an overnight                  stay Fox Creek Campground is a nice location to camp, and after a long day outdoors Yodeler Motel is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Rock Island Lake. There are some good whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and hiking along the Crazy Mountain Trail is delightful fun. Rock Island Butte is easy to spot from Rock Island Lake, and Crazy Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Bugle Lake; do take a hike on the Crazy Lakes Trail. Rock Island Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
