If you are in Ravalli county it's always a good idea to stop by Ripple Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Discovery Ski is a tremendous spot to do that, and Mussigbrod Campground is a great campground here. Alpine Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and going for a hike on the Hi Line Trail is always a great adventure. Camping at Ripple Lake is brilliant fun, Copper Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. Ripple

| | Lake gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Throughout the summer months highs here at Ripple Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while Ripple Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Kelly Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; Bitterroot Pass is a great place to spend some time.
