Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Blackfoot River - North Fork, and going for a hike on the Arrastra Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Lewis Range. There is a good hiking trail right next door to Reservoir Lake called the Meadow Creek Trail, and Reservoir Lake is glorious enough to spend more       than a day at, Big Nelson Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Reservoir Lake, you could go to North Fork Arrastra Creek; there are fine locations to explore along the Meadow Creek Trail. Reservoir Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. At Reservoir Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's; the overnight is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures through the                  wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Reservoir Lake. A great nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge; a great site for whitewater paddling is Blackfoot River. So many enjoyable things in the Lewis Range, just mind-blowing. Reservoir Lake is a location that is relatively dehydrated generally; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. And that's not all you can do here at Reservoir Lake. A pleasant spree to Porcupine Basin is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
