This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Fox Creek Campground is a good campground nearby; you can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone for all you adrenaline kick people, and hiking along the Crazy Lakes Trail is wonderful fun. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka       Range. Stay the night at Chief Joseph Campground. For the period of the days of summer at Reed Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Reed Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
