This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls is a delightful choice; nearby you come across the North Boundary Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Redhorn Lake. Redhorn Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Avalanche Campground is a wonderful local campground, and from Redhorn Lake you       acquire a wonderful view of Nahsukin Mountain. If you came to camp Sprague Creek Campground is a perfect site to do that; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Waterton Valley Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the Lewis Range. You can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork near Redhorn Lake, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Gyrfalcon Lake is one of those close by. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. For                  the period of the warmest time of the year here at Redhorn Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Redhorn Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you should schedule some time for it since you're here, and if you've had enough of Redhorn Lake, Nahsukin Lake is nearby. Redhorn Lake gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is April. So much exciting stuff in the Lewis Range, just mind-boggling.
