Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Livingston. There's so much to do here at Redfield Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Beaver Campground is a nice location for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Redfield Lake. Going for a hike along the Sidehill       Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Boulder River. For the duration of the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Redfield Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Redfield Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. At Redfield Lake you don’t see much precipitation; during                  the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Murray Hotel is a good place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Falls Creek Campground. A lake nearby is Horseshoe Lake; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Highland Trail. Davis Creek is near Redfield Lake and is always a delight to explore, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder River - West. All year is a magnificent time in the Absaroka Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.
