Red Lake is a nice lake to visit. The Hyde Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Red Lake, and here at Red Lake you can make out Lazyman Hill. Red Lake gets very little precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Red Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Going for a hike on the Lobo Mesa Pack Trail is always a splendid adventure.

Red Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Canyon Campground is a magnificent local campground. Lakes? Sure, Moose Lake is close at hand.
