A glorious spot for whitewater paddling next to Ravalli Potholes is Mill Creek; hiking along the Sixmile Trail is nice fun. A lake nearby is Ninepipe Reservoir; Getaway Pass is another great place to take a look at nearby. High temperatures at Ravalli Potholes during the summertime are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs       through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Ravalli Potholes. Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a splendid place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Houle Creek Trail. Flathead River is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Ravalli Potholes. Ravalli Potholes is not the only place nearby, Hillside Reservoir is a nearby lake, and the top of Telephone Mountain is easily spotted from Ravalli Potholes. The snow is fine at Montana                  Snowbowl, and after a long day outdoors Missoula-Days Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ravalli Potholes that you need to camp here for a while, Montana St. Ignatius Campground is a delightful place for that, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Squaw Peak Trail. It is very dry here at Ravalli Potholes ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Ravalli Potholes.
