River. This lake is so wonderful. The Pole Gulch Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Rat Lake.
Dry warm beds await you at Bucks T4 Lodge, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Red Rock Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Avalanche Spire Rock can be seen from Rat Lake, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Big Sky. While you're here at Rat Lake you can take a hike along the Divide Trail, and Big Sky Resort is a great site to get some rest.
