     Montana has many beautiful lakes and Ramshorn Lake is one of them. Ramshorn Lake gets very little rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Ramshorn Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Ramshorn Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Drift  
   down the rapids of Gallatin River in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Big Sky Resort is a great choice.
Paddling on Gallatin River is so much fun, and nearby you locate brilliant places like Buffalo Horn Pass. Camping at Tom Miner Campground is always a nice experience, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Fawn Pass Trail. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Ramshorn Lake is Fortress Mountain; do take a hike on
 
               the Divide Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Buffalo Horn Campground, and going for a hike along the Skyline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Ramshorn Lake, so little time. Lakes? Sure, Golden Trout Lakes is around here, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Gallatin Petrified Forest.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Crail Creek Club is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Moonlight Basin is relatively near.
