    Do stop by Ramshorn Lake while you're in this part of Montana. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Gallatin River, and naturally, this is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes, Buffalo Horn Lakes is a lake nearby. Fortress Mountain is a peak you can spot from Ramshorn Lake; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Divide Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gallatin Petrified Forest is a great local forest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood  
   you can always explore close by Golden Trout Lakes.
After a long day outdoors Big Sky Resort is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and nearby you come across Buffalo Horn Pass which is a nice site to visit. All through the warmest time of the year at Ramshorn Lake highs are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ramshorn
 
               Lake are in the 10's. While you're here at Ramshorn Lake you can take a hike along the Skyline Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Fawn Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Crail Creek Club is a fine place to get some rest. Around Ramshorn Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month. Paddling on Gallatin River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ramshorn Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buffalo Horn Campground.
This place is excellent, just check out all the exciting things to do close to Ramshorn Lake. Hit the slopes at Moonlight Basin in the vicinity; you can stay the night at Tom Miner Campground.
