The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai River, and Ramsey Lake is right by the Goat Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Vermilion River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you've had enough of Ramsey Lake, Isabella Lake is close by. Ramsey Lake gets a typical       amount of annual precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Ramsey Lake, so little time. A pleasant nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Libby, and Howard Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Cabinet Mountains. Turner Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff,                  and do take a hike on the Engle Peak Trail. Ramsey Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Lake Creek Campground is a fine site to camp nearby, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Libby Lakes is just a very short distance away. Summertime at Ramsey Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows at Ramsey Lake throughout the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. All year is a great time in the Cabinet Mountains if you adore the outdoors.
