This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - West for all you thrill seekers; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Red Lodge Mountain. Going for a hike on the Crazy Lakes Trail is always a delightful adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Emerald Lake Campground is a wonderful place       to camp. You truly should like the Absaroka Range. You can run the rapids of Stillwater River next to Ram Lake, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. Ram Lake is a location that is relatively dehydrated mostly; through May this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This place, Ram Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Pine Grove Campground is a wonderful campground nearby.                  At Ram Lake you can catch a glimpse of Pyramid Mountain, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Lake Reno Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Ram Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
