Have a fine hiking adventure along the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail; some of the water close by flows, like Bertha Creek. The annual precipitation here at Rainy Lake is about average; during the month of December you get the most snow around here while July       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lake Alva Campground; going for a hike along the Foothills Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
