Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Mulherin Creek. Rainbow Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Through the summer highs here at Rainbow Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours       it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Rainbow Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Paddling on Yellowstone River is so much fun. Looking for some flowing water? Try Landslide Creek, and the Sepulcher Loop Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Why                  not camp at Eagle Creek Campground since you're here at Rainbow Lake; if you need a site to stay Yellowstone Park North Travelodge is a glorious choice. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Absaroka Range.
