Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yaak River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rainbow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pipe Creek Campground. But wait, there's more to do near Rainbow Lake. The snow is great at Turner Mountain. All through the summer months at Rainbow Lake highs are usually in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the       40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Rainbow Lake. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Libby is a brilliant choice, and a good vista of beautiful Flatiron Mountain is available.
