While you're here at Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Crow Creek Trail, and Rocking C Ranch is a nice campground nearby. Around Rainbow Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not sufficient hours in a day       to enjoy this spot. Do take a look at Fatty Lake in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake, it's a charming lake, and close by Hellroaring Pass is a brilliant place to go. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Wire Trail, and get drenched paddling on Swan River. At Rainbow Lake you can observe Cedar Peak. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Cedar Lake near Rainbow Lake, and Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast                  is a great place to get some rest. High temperatures at Rainbow Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
