Take a hike on the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail, and a great place to camp here at Rainbow Lake is Whitefish RV Park. While you're here at Rainbow Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Kalispell, and a round of golf at nearby Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Lazy Bay also since you're here; whitewater paddling is brilliant on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Summertime highs

| | at Rainbow Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Rainbow Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Murray Lake. Rainbow Lake is right by the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail, and of course Lazy Creek flows through this neighborhood.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Rainbow Lake. The slopes of Blacktail Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Rainbow Lake. If you need a
spot to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a good choice. Lakes? Sure, Woods Lake is around here. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillwater River, and Rainbow Lake is perfect enough
to spend more than a day at, Les Mason Campground is a perfect local campground. Rainbow Lake is pretty dry mostly; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
