Rainbow Lake is regularly a pretty dried up place; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. You can spot Call Mountain from Rainbow Lake, and it's a pleasant idea to explore Gorge Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and why not camp at Aspen Campground since you're here at Rainbow       Lake. A good close by hotel is Comfort Inn Dillon; a lake nearby is Long Lake. During the warm months at Rainbow Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Rainbow Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Pioneer Mountains. Near Rainbow Lake you hit upon the Rhubarb                  Patch Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Rainbow Lake is not the only location nearby, Long Branch Lake is a nearby lake. So many amusing things in the Pioneer Mountains, just remarkable. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Rainbow Lake.
