That right there is plenty of exciting things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rachel Lake; Upper Granite Loop Trail is a perfect local trail, and why not head                  up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Granite Loop Trail; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Absaroka Range. Rachel Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Rachel Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 30's.
