Any time is a delightful time at Rachel Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. There's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you thrill seekers, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. For the duration of the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Rachel Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's       usually in the 30's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Rachel Lake fall into the 0's. So many fun things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too great to be true. Beartooth Lake Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Clay Butte Trail. The annual precipitation here at Rachel Lake is about average; through the                  month of June you get the most rain around here while October is generally the driest month. There are other places here than Rachel Lake, for example Liver Lake; the Granite Loop Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Ghost Lake is a great lake near Rachel Lake, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
