A day on the slopes of Great Divide is just what you need, and Lava Mountain is a peak you can see from Quartz Lake. If you need a place to stay Jorgenson Inn and Suite is a perfect choice, and do take a hike on the Mount Helena National Recreation Trail. Quartz Lake gets very little rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors       Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two, and it's a perfect idea to stop at North Fork Quartz Creek. There's so much to do here at Quartz Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Park Lake Campground is a delightful spot for that, and there are plenty of people from Helena here at Quartz Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes. Park Lake is a lake close by. Through                  the days of summer at Quartz Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Quartz Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Having a good time at Quartz Lake is simple. Going for a hike along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Boulder River is a good whitewater spot nearby.
