Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. If you need a site to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a magnificent choice, and swing by Molly Creek it's a fine site to stop at. Prisoner Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July. Prisoner Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. And if that's not enough       there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Lewis Range. Near Prisoner Lake you find the Haystack Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and from Prisoner Lake you acquire a good view of Fault Peak. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do close to Prisoner Lake. Going for a hike on the Catchem Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and paddling on Flathead River - South Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant location to camp                  here at Prisoner Lake is Monture Creek Campground; you can go for a hike on the Camp Creek Pass Trail. Camping is available at Straight Creek Campground; the landscape is dominated by the Flathead Alps. For the period of the summertime at Prisoner Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
