And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Dearborn Gulch is a nice place to explore right next door to Potato Lakes; whitewater paddling is nice on Rock Creek. If you need a place to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a nice choice, and lakes       are such serene locations, why not pop by Milo Lake. Through the summertime months at Potato Lakes highs are frequently in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Potato Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Discovery Ski, and you can go for a hike on the Combination Trail Number 3. Kaiser Lake                  is a great lake in the neighborhood of Potato Lakes, and going for a hike on the Hi Line Trail is always a good adventure. Around Potato Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
