Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do close to Porcupine Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Clark Memorial Campground is a good place to camp, and while you're here you can take a hike along the West Fork Fishtrap Trail. A fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - St. Regis, of course you could also go to Frog Lake since you're here;       it's not far at all. If the weather is magnificent here at Porcupine Lake, you can go for a hike along the Slide Rock Mountain Trail, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a great site to get some rest. High temperatures at Porcupine Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Porcupine Lake dipping down into the 10's all through                  winter nights. Camping is available at Copper King Campground; do put some time aside to spend at Big Spring if you're here at Porcupine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Porcupine Lake you could always explore Squaw Pass, and a good panorama of beautiful Cube Iron Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Thompson River Mount Headley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
