Pony Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is July. Any time is a perfect time at Pony Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a magnificent choice. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back persistently. If the weather is wonderful here at Pony Lake,       you can go for a hike along the Smith Creek Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Pony Lake you can take a hike along the Lion Creek Trail, and of course, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Cat Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Pony Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. Pony Lake is a good site to camp, Soup Creek Campground is a good site, and                  why not a little side tour to Cat Creek. The Foothills Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Pony Lake; Holland Lake Campground is a perfect campground here. For the period of the summer at Pony Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
