Summertime highs at Planaria Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Planaria Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. The Crazy Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close to Planaria Lake; a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This lake       is so wonderful. Lake Creek Campground is a great local campground; at Planaria Lake you can see Crazy Mountain. Why not camp at Crazy Creek Campground since you're here at Planaria Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Lake Reno Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Red Lodge Mountain is a good local ski area. Planaria Lake is a good place of normal rain; of all the months in                  a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Near Planaria Lake you locate the Copeland Lake Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; not far from Planaria Lake you'll hit upon Shrimp Lake which is a beautiful lake. This place, Planaria Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
