What a nice lake Pitamakan Lake is. Pitamakan Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and April is the month with the least moisture. Pitamakan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Two Medicine Campground since you're here at Pitamakan Lake, and the Upper Two Medicine Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.

| | Bank Campground; paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Bighorn Basin is a delightful place any time of year. During the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at Pitamakan Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pitamakan Lake.

Glacier National Park is a tremendous national park, and Flinsch Peak is pretty and can be observed from here. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. While staying at Pitamakan Lake you could always discover Cut Bank Pass,
and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Cut Bank Pass Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a tremendous time. Going for a hike along the Pitamakan Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; whitewater paddling is perfect on Bear Creek.
