Paddling on Stillwater River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Pisce has to offer, you can camp at Woodbine Campground. At Lake Pisce you don’t see much precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. So many entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Rabbit Gulch is a good site       to stop by near Lake Pisce. Lakes? Sure, Hermit Lake is in the neighborhood. This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. The Thunderer Cutoff Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Lake Pisce. There's so much to do here at Lake Pisce that you need to camp here for a while, Hells Canyon Campground is a fine place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Lake Pisce, you can go for a hike along the                  Republic Trail; here at Lake Pisce you can make out Two Sisters. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Lake Pisce has it all. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Big Timber is a perfect choice; not far from Lake Pisce you'll stumble on Needle Lake which is a charming lake. While you're here at Lake Pisce you can take a hike along the Lodgepole Trail; get wet paddling on Boulder River. At Lake Pisce during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
